About the CEO

Steve Laughary is the owner of Desired Resources, LLC, which was created specifically to help make healthcare services available to those unable to get to appointments, by delivering them to the patient.

Steve has a diversified background in business management, marketing and operations. He has enjoyed success as Branch Director of both commercial and medical staffing companies, management of dental offices, and business development of hospice, home health care, and audiology.

Steve is a strong advocate for the elderly and is involved in many associations and committees seeking to raise awareness of the challenges and needs of the aging senior population. He has dedicated several years to learning what resources are available to people as they transition through the many phases of life.

Mobile Services - The "Why"

Our passion is to eliminate the many reasons why seniors and people with mobility challenges have to prioritize their healthcare. We are particularly passionate about the oral health of the seniors in memory care communities. They are woefully underserved, vulnerable and riddled with infection and decay.

As our population ages, disability is on the rise. Along with it are other conditions that take their toll upon already compromised systems. Alzheimer and other Dementias, Parkinson's, mobility challenges, and fixed incomes all play a part in the individual not seeking the care they need.

I promote and feature companies who have solutions that can be offered on site to the seniors, the disabled, and other persons who need them.

There are more and more resources becoming available everyday that fit that criteria. If you don't see it listed on my site, it does not mean that I can't help you with it.

In other words - if you can't find it, call me!!

Donna F.   10/22/2014

Amazing Resource! We recently moved my father to a memory care unit in Arizona from New York. It was daunting to coordinate his care and medical professionals given his living in a secured unit. We are so fortunate because Steve Laughary was referred to us and his company,  Desired Resources. So competent, kind, resourceful, with incredibly great physicians and services for our Dad. Steve was able to connect us with professionals who show up, are responsive, took wonderful care of Dad, and with one call to Steve we were able to coordinate his care which would have taken us days to handle on our own with no knowledge of the quality of care he would receive. He even had the name of a videographer, Steve Wargo, who is incredible to make a Legacy Video of our Dad. Full service and then some. I recommend Desired Resources without reservation and we are completely blessed to have found Steve!! Donna Friedman
